     นักภูมิศาสตร์จะอธิบาย ถึงรูปแบบของการเปลี่ยนแปลงของที่ต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจเป็น บนโลก บนแผนที่ และ รูปทรงหรือลักษณะ(สัณฐาน)โลก โดยบอกว่ารูปแบบการเปลี่ยนแปลง นั้นเกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร โดย
ภูมิศาสตร์จะให้ความเข้าใจในปัญหาต่างๆนี้ ในทางด้านกายภาพ(เกี่ยวกับสิ่งไม่มีชีวิต,สสารและพลังงาน)และวัฒนธรรมของสถานที่ที่เราสนใจ และรวมสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัวเรา ที่อยู่บนพื้นผิวโลกด้วย

Eratosthenes(father of geography)

     Geographer explains the pattern of changes in the world weather you look at a map and are on the world or its natural (characteristics), giving that how the changes in those patterns are occurred. By geography, we can understand various problems physically (non-living things, matter and energy). Also, the culture of the place where we do including our surrounding environments on the surface crust of the world is not avoidably considered.
